Container Certification and Inspection Services
ABS provides in-service inspection services for containers certified to operate across multiple modes of transport. A container is typically inspected and certified as an intermodal container (enabling movement from ship to rail to road) or as an offshore container (enabling movement from dock to ship to offshore facility). These periodic inspections, typically conducted at 2.5-year or five-year intervals, are required to maintain the certifications issued during manufacture.
