Paul Karam

Paul Karam is the Vice President of Greater China Operations for ABS. In this role, he has operational responsibilities over mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
Karam has served in several leadership and management roles for ABS for the past 30 years. Previously, he served as Senior Principal Surveyor for the Pacific Division Survey Team, ABS Corporate Chief of Staff, ABS Regional Vice President for Northern Pacific, Assistant Country Manager for China, and ABS Corporate TQM Manager.
Karam began his career with ABS in 1993 as a Surveyor in Houston, USA, with subsequent moves to Geoje Island and Ulsan, Korea, and Shanghai, China as Senior Surveyor and Lead Surveyor.
Karam graduated from the State University of New York Maritime College, with a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Marine Engineering.
