Jennifer Harrison is Vice President of Training Solutions at ABS. In this role, she focuses on developing a training business line to assist ABS clients in upskilling their shoreside and shipboard personnel to comply with new technologies and regulations.
Harrison’s career in the maritime industry spans nearly 30 years, with more than two decades spent working with ABS. She began her career as a personnel manager for a floating production storage and offloading management company and a crew purser with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. Her hands-on experience on cruise ships fueled her passion for the maritime industry, and her love of cruising remains strong.
Harrison joined ABS as a training consultant for the Nautical Systems Division and quickly moved into the role of business development focusing on new sales and existing customer relationships. Harrison moved into the corporate marketing department for several years as the Manager of External Affairs, before transitioning to learning, where she spearheaded ABS’ first learning management system and in-house development team.
In 2022, Harrison began overseeing technical training development, delivering programs at ABS Academies in Houston, Shanghai, Singapore, Busan, Doha and Athens, before transitioning to her current role in 2024.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Psychology from the University of Houston, a Master of Human Resource Development from Indiana State University and a Master of Business Administration from Texas A&M University.
