Our family of advanced safety training centers employs the latest immersive techniques, including virtual reality, game-based learning and computer simulation technology. These centers are home to the ABS MetaSHIP fleet, powered by Orka, of highly realistic virtual vessels, offering learners unparalleled opportunities to engage in virtual field trips and hands-on experiences.

The ABS LNG Academy, Hellenic Ship Safety Center and Singapore Maritime Safety Center are strategically located to serve the global maritime community. ABS LNG Academy

Located in Doha, Qatar, the ABS LNG Academy specializes in training for liquefied natural gas (LNG) operations. Our courses cover everything from basic LNG handling to advanced operational techniques, ensuring that participants are well-prepared for the challenges of the LNG industry.

ABS Hellenic Ship Safety Center

The ABS Hellenic Ship Safety Center in Athens focuses on enhancing ship safety and compliance. Our training programs include safety management systems, emergency response and regulatory compliance, providing participants with the knowledge and skills to maintain high safety standards.

ABS Singapore Maritme Safety Center

In collaboration with the Maritme and Port Authority of Singapore's (MPA) Maritime Energy Training Facility (METF) project, the ABS Singapore Maritime Safety Center offers a wide range of courses aimed at imporving maritme safety and operational efficiency. From the safe handling of alternative fuels to the deployment of battery and electric propulsion systems, our training programs are designed to meet the needs of maritime professionals at all levels.

ABS has partnered with GTT Training to offer even more courses. With over 75 years of seagoing experience and more than 45 years in shoreside teaching and ship management positions, GTT Training has a wealth of experience in the LNG Industry.

ABS and Poten & Partners offer a collaborative LNG Commercial Operations course providing charterer personnel, shipowners, and LNG traders a foundational understanding about how commercial operations of LNG carriers are effectively managed throughout their life cycles.

ABS has expanded its long-standing relationship with the Theta Training Center to offer several Engine, ECDIS and Liquid Cargo Handling simulation courses. Courses are available onsite at the ABS LNG Academy in our simulator training room, or online from any global location.
