Chris Corcoran
ABS
Chris Corcoran is a Sr. Staff Advisor in the ABS Global Offshore division. He has served in various domestic and international management roles in ABS which has included directing the development and application of classification and statutory compliance for offshore units, ships and fixed installations.
Chris’s career in the offshore and maritime industries spans 42 years, including 17 years with drilling contractors, where he directed global projects and technical operations support.
He is a graduate of the University of Michigan and holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering.

Director, Equipment and Materials
Demetri Stroubakis
ABS
Demetri Stroubakis, ABS Director of Equipment and Materials, is a twenty six year veteran of ABS. He has extensive experience in numerous naval and commercial ship new construction projects and is a subject matter expert in equipment and material certification activities. Demetri has held many positions of increasing responsibility during his ABS career, most recently serving as Assistant Chief Surveyor for Global Materials and Equipment certification.
Prior to joining ABS Demetri served as an officer in the US Navy. He completed his undergraduate degree in Marine Engineering from the United States Merchant Marine Academy, Kings Point, NY, and is a graduate of Texas A&M Mays School of Business, Executive MBA program.
