Teekay Selects ABS Nautical Systems as its Fleet Management Provider

(Houston, Texas) ABS Nautical Systems today announced that they have been selected by Teekay Corporation as their fleet management software provider. Teekay will be replacing a legacy management software system they currently have in place with ABS Nautical Systems’ fully integrated system which allows for a more streamlined approach to fleet management.

Teekay will implement the Maintenance & Repair, Purchasing & Inventory and Drydocking modules from ABS Nautical Systems’ software suite, NS5.  The modules will be initially installed on Teekay’s fleet of 21 shuttle tankers and two newbuilds. 

Since the kick off of the project on March 16th, ABS Nautical Systems has mobilized a team to Vancouver, BC to provide on-site support and work side-by-side with Teekay to guarantee the project’s success.
