Australia Port State Control Areas of Concern

Australia Port State Control Areas of Concern

The Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) has posted detailed information and advice on its Port State Control Continuing Areas of Concern which account for almost 90% of detentions by AMSA. This includes such things as: hours of rest and fatigue, lifesaving appliances, firefighting equipment, oily water separators, communications equipment, emergency generators, Load Line items and ISM related deficiencies.
