Riyadh Port State Control MOU Concentrated Inspection Campaign (CIC) on SOLAS Chapter V Compliance

The member States of the Riyadh MOU (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and UAE) are undertaking a CIC from 1 October to 31 December 2010 on safety of navigation during which they will focus on checking that navigation related equipment and documentation are in compliance with SOLAS Chapter V as well as evaluating the familiarity of the Master and watchkeeping officers with the bridge equipment.
