Paris MOU on Port State Control New Inspection Regime

The Paris MOU on Port State Control is introducing its New Inspection Regime on 1 January 2011 which, amongst other things, includes significant changes with respect to the number and type of Port State Control inspections, a new Ship Risk Profile replacing the Target Factor as well as changes on banning criteria - while also rewarding low risk ships with less frequent inspections.
