CHRISTOPHER REIBLEIN

Director, Global HSQE (Health, Quality, Safety, Environment)

Christopher Reiblein is the Global Health, Quality, Safety, Environment (HSQE) Director at ABS. In his current role, Reiblein is dedicated to advancing safety, quality and environmental performance across ABS’ global operations, continuing ABS’ tradition of best-in-class HSQE systems brought into the digital age.

Reiblein brings more than 25 years of maritime industry expertise, including 17 years with ABS. He began his career at sea, serving 11 years as a merchant marine officer. During this time, he managed operations on diverse vessels in worldwide service. He later joined ABS, where he spent seven years as Principal Surveyor-in-Charge, leading survey operations across Charleston, South Carolina, and Jacksonville, Florida, with a focus on compliance, audits, and surveys after construction.

Reiblein holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Colorado State University. He is also a senior member of the Air Force Auxiliary Civil Air Patrol.
