Robert Clyne

Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary

Clyne began his career at ABS in technical and legal positions from 1982 to 1988. He then spent 24 years in private practice with Hill Rivkins LLP, where he last served as Co-Managing Partner. He rejoined ABS in 2012 as Vice President and Senior Deputy General Counsel.

Clyne served as President of the Maritime Law Association of the United States (MLA) from 2014–2016.

He has a bachelor’s degree in marine transportation from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, and he earned his J.D. degree from New York Law School
