ABS-Classed Desert Challenger Delivered

The ABS-classed Desert Challenger was delivered on January 4, 2017, to Greece’s Atlantic Bulk Carrier Management Ltd. by Hyundai Vinashin Shipyard of Vietnam.

The Desert Challenger, a 61,000 dwt bulk carrier, is the first of three on order to be delivered to ABS class. ABS worked with stakeholders, including the shipyard, owner, designer and regulators, to help deliver this world-class vessel.
