ABS’ Insights on the Tanker and Shipbuilding Sector in China
ABS recently hosted two seminars in Copenhagen and Hamburg focusing on the tanker and shipbuilding industry in China. ABS’ Technical Advisor, Stein Nilsen (based in ABS’s Shanghai office) was on hand to provide the latest insights and updates about shipbuilding industry in China’s, and also presented the latest on the ABS’ work in China focusing particularly on the tanker sector.
With the increasing demand for chemical tankers in China last year, the Chinese marine industry has begun paying more attention to this market segment. To respond to inquiries requesting specialized training courses, the ABS Greater China Division (GCD) developed and hosted a Chemical Tanker Training session to provide a technical and operational overview for clients.
