ABS displays strong presence at Vietship
ABS recently participated at Vietship 2016, the eighth International Exhibition on Shipbuilding, Shipping and Offshore Technology in Ha Noi, Vietnam.
“Potential Market for Vietnamese Shipyard” was chosen as the theme for the conference. Vice Minister of Transport Nguyen Van Cong inaugurated the opening ceremony as he highlighted the immense potential for the domestic shipping industry to develop due the country's geographical location along many important marine routes.
ABS continued with the expo’s theme in the ABS booth as conversations took place on the new ways of developing the shipbuilding business in Vietnam while the market is recovering. ABS technical and industry specialists, including ABS Vice President of Containerships Matthew Tremblay, were at the ABS booth.
In addition to exhibiting at the show, ABS hosted an appreciation reception for members and clients to build on new and existing relationships and provide networking opportunities.
