Update to the IMDG Code (Amendments 41-22)

Covering the latest carriage requirements for dangerous cargoes, the IMO has adopted a new set of amendments to the International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Code. These updates include revised testing and certification for aerosols, cylinders and pressure vessels, along with new provisions for portable shells made of fiber reinforced materials. Owners of both new and existing vessels should be mindful of these updates and shipowners and operators should make plans for updating their IMDG Code certificates and approved cargo lists if necessary.
