ABS and Texas A&M University are collaborating on several research and development projects intended to:

  • Drive safety forward by exploring ammonia's interaction with water during release, identifying battery safety measures, and evaluating the safe application of augmented reality and wearable devices.
  • Foster innovation through evaluating nuclear energy potential and analyzing carbon capture, transport and storage.
  • Advance digitization by training artificial intelligence to process 360º images and establish a virtual testing framework for autonomous navigation.
