Shipping’s contribution to greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions is coming under increasing scrutiny at IMO and on regional levels. The ABS Code of Ethics includes procedures for the identification, disclosure and remediation of all actual or potential conflicts of interest, and prohibits ABS personnel from carrying out activities on behalf of ABS that pose an unacceptable risk to their impartiality or in respect of which they have conflicts of interest.
